Bernardo Silva has shared his high praise for Phil Foden following Manchester City’s game with Newcastle United.
The Citizens celebrated a 2 – 0 victory over the Magpies in the Premier League on Saturday.
Foden opened the score to give his side the lead in the 15th minute of the clash. Silva netted the second goal to secure three points for the team in the 67th minute.
After the clash, Silva admitted he is happy to see Foden back at the team after an injury setback.
“He [Foden] is so good, one of those players that can decide matches, take on one or two players and score. I’m happy for him – he went through a difficult period because of injury, so he’s back and we are very happy to have him,” the midfielder said, via TBR Football.
