Mike Brown’s first signing as head coach of the Sacramento Kings has been that of Spanish coach Jordi Fernández as associate head coach.
Mike Brown, an ex Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers coach who is currently on the Golden State Warriors coaching staff, will be the new head coach of the Kings.
Jordi Fernandez and Mike Brown already worked together with the Cavaliers in 2009, when the Spanish coach was a developmental coach with the Cleveland franchise.
In the 2014-2016 season Jordi Fernandez was the head coach of the Canton Charge in the G League, achieving a 62-38 record.
