Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard’s side have rejected the Gunners’ three bids for the Brazilian, 40 minutes before the transfer window deadline.
According to the journalist, Mikel Arteta will not give on the 24-year-old, who is becoming a free agent in 2023 if the club does not extend him.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Phillips admitted:
“The situation there if he does become a free agent, Chelsea will probably have a look at it.
“But I think he’ll end up joining Arsenal.”
