Jordan Henderson has been called up by Gareth Southgate to replace Kalvin Phillips in England’s games against Italy and Germany in Nations League.
The 32-year-old missed out the international call up before Phillips’ injury, who is set to undergo a shoulder surgery.
However, the Liverpool midfielder will be back in action for the first time after being unavailable for the Reds’ last three games due to a hamstring injury.
