Mikel Arteta provides positive injury news on Ghana international Thomas Partey

Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta provided an injury update on Thomas Partey, who has been struggling with injuries this term.

Partey’s 2023/24 season has been halted with injuries as he has only made five appearances.

The Ghana international is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and recently returned to training, however, he has suffered a setback.

However, speaking ahead of Sheffield game, Arteta provided positive news: “Yeah, Thomas had a session before the last game and now he’s done two or three consecutive sessions. He should be part of the squad on Monday.”
