Manchester City faced Everton in the Premier League on Wednesday and celebrated a 3-1 comeback win.

Jack Harrison opened the scoring for the Toffees, while Phil Foden equalised for City in the second half.

Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva also scored in the second half and helped Pep Guardiola’s side earn the three points.

During the game, however, unfortunately, John Stones suffered an injury. He was repalced after 43 minutes having picked up an ankle problem.

“It doesn’t look good but we will see,” Guardiola told Amazon Prime following the game. “It’s his ankle.”

Guardiola also gave an update on Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland.

“[Haaland is] training alone,” Guardiola said. “He’s getting better, but he is not training with the team yet.

“Kevin is training with the team. He’s close. But he had fatigue yesterday and we have to be careful.

“The injury was serious so it’s step-by-step. But he is training with us. He’s so positive. I would love him to play the next game but it’s important to keep him fit for a long time.”
