Ruben Amorim makes admission on beating Man City after Sporting’s 4-1 win

Ruben Amorim is preparing to face Manchester City for the second time this season but now as Manchester United manager.
Amorim faced City in the Champions League when he was still managing Sporting CP and beat Pep Guardiola’s side with a 4-1 win.
Manchester Derby takes place on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
Speaking ahead of the game, Amorim was quizzed on the 4-1 win.
He said: “No. The great teams can respond at any moment – and I think they are in a better place than us in the type of understanding the game, the way they play and the confidence they have. We will have a strategy: try to win the game with the strategy like it should be.”
