Spike Lee to make a TV series about the Knicks in the 90s
The information has been confirmed by The New York Daily News insider Stefan Bondi. “It’s not a rumour,” Bondi is quoted as saying by the director.
The series will be based on the book Blood in the Garden, written by Chris Herring. The book tells the story of how the Knicks of the 90s under head coach Pat Riley with Patrick Ewing and Charles Oakley on the roster earned the respect and admiration of fans for their tough power play.
