The North Londoners are keen to finally part ways with their on-loan midfielder following bad spell before his loan to the Serie A.
Since joining Tottenham back in 2019, Ndombele has failed to live up to the big price tag that saw him move to the Premier League and as such has been frozen out of the club.
Despite still having a vast two and a half years contract with Spurs, the 200k per week earner has been disclosed to not be part of the current project at the club.
Following his huge wage bill, Ndombele could rightly be tagged as a thorn on Spurs’ flesh with the side finding difficult to offload him permanently as they have instead resorted to loans so far.
However, fortune might take a different turn next summer as Tottenham look to permanently part ways with the 25-year-old.
According to sources closer to the club, the player’s £30m clause will be automatically activated should Napoli qualify for the UEFA Champions League and with Napoli top of the Serie A and in an impressive form, Tottenham are gradually relieved off his huge wage as they look to restock.
The midfielder has featured in almost every game for the Serie A side.
