West Ham is reportedly targeting Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari as they look to bring in new bodies into the middle of the park.

West Ham United finds itself in the midst of speculation linking them to Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari, and they’re not alone in the pursuit.

This interest comes on the heels of West Ham’s extensive midfield reconstruction during the summer transfer window, triggered by the departure of Declan Rice to Arsenal for a record-breaking fee. The void left by the Englishman’s exit was skillfully filled by acquisitions Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse, both of whom have seamlessly integrated into the London outfit.

However, with Tomas Soucek’s contract potentially expiring next year, West Ham might find themselves back in the market for a suitable replacement. Reports from Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, cited by TEAMtalk, suggest that the Hammers have set their sights on Jashari, currently plying his trade with FC Lurzen in the Swiss league.

Remarkably, the 21-year-old midfielder could reportedly be secured for a modest sum of €6 million, a figure that appears to be a bargain in today’s inflated transfer market. Villarreal, a club from La Liga, is also reportedly expressing interest in Jashari, adding an extra layer of competition for West Ham.
