Luis Enrique’s men were all over the place as they let hell lose on the Costa Rica National Team, beating them 7-0 in the Group opening tie.

Dani Olmo netted the opening goal with an early strike to send the Spaniards ahead of Costa Rica before Marco Asensio’s fine finish to Jordi Alba’s assist put them two up.

The Spanish attack remained at the top of the game and 10 minutes later were seen at the corner spot celebrating their third of the game after Ferran Torres beat the Keeper from the penalty spot.

Both sides headed for the dressing room with Spain in lead but returning energized having had a little chat with their Managers, Costa Rica’s plan to turn the tables was rubbish by Ferran Torres who grabbed a brace on his World Cup debut.

Ferran Torres after his impressive 57 minutes action was taken off for former Chelsea attacker, Alvaro Morata who came on net a lost time 7th goal for Spain.

Morata’s goal came very rewarding after he assisted Gavi to get on the score sheet just few minutes coming onto the pitch while Soler netted the 6th goal for the Spanish team.

Spain are now at the top of the Group E, leading with goal difference ahead of Japan who stunned Germany with a come back victory.

Spain take on Germany on their next encounter while Japan lock horns with Costa Rica, handing them an opportunity to overtake Spain should they fail to beat Germany.
