Wout Weghorst has sent a social media message after scoring his first goal for Manchester United.
The Red Devils celebrated a 3 – 0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Marcus Rashford opened the score for his side, with Weghorst and Burno Fernandes joining him on the scoresheet.
After his January move to Old Trafford, this was Weghorst’s first goal contribution to United. So, the attacker took to Twitter to share his excitement.
He wrote: “Great team effort and performance. Happy to open my account for @manchesterunited. Hungry for more.”
