Fourth placed Arsenal come into this match after a midweek defeat to title contenders Liverpool.
The teams were pretty even in the first half, but once Diogo Jota opened the scoring on 54 minutes it looked like there was no way back, Roberto Firmino secured the points eight minutes later with Liverpool’s second.
In Arsenal’s last 12 matches they have only lost to Liverpool and Manchester City, and while those sides are in a league of their own, the Gooners are rapidly improving and are close to positioning themselves as the best of the rest.
