Musetti, meanwhile, will play in the ATP level final for the first time in his career. This will allow him to make his debut in the top 40.
Lorenzo is having arguably his best week on tour. In the semi-finals, Lorenzo defeated Francisco Cerundolo (6-3, 7-6), who took the title at Bastad last week and beat Andrey Rublev in the second round of the current tournament.
Musetti also surprised slightly in the quarter-finals, beating Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (6-4, 6-3) handily.
In addition, Lorenzo had a strong wins over Dusan Lajovic (6-7, 7-6, 7-3) and Emil Ruusuvuori (6-4, 7-5).
Musetti has lost six times in his previous eight meetings with the top ten.
