Bookmaker Ratings: Prediction One – Handicap (-3) for Kyrgios – 1.86.
Bookmaker Ratings: Prediction Two – Total Games Over 22.5 – 1.90.
Kyrgios doesn’t look like he’s going to let up. Nick is going to win the Montreal tournament. He’s got all the prerequisites in place. It’s not out of the question that he’ll beat De Minaur as well. Alex does not have a strong serve and his speed should not give him an advantage in the match. Nick is a more technical tennis player.
De Minaur should be able to resist Kyrgios. He is, after all, a very unyielding tennis player. Alex is fighting to the last ball. He can’t leave the court without a fight.
Kyrios was one of the main protagonists of Black Wednesday. On Wednesday in Montreal, three of the top-seeded players lost, including Daniil Medvedev, who was unable to adjust to Lyrgios’ serve.
Daniil hardly took the first set on a tie-break, but that was the end of any positive moments for him.
In the deciding set, Kyrgios took two games on Medvedev’s serve.
Unlike Medvedev, Kyrgios never lost a serve. Daniil, by the way, had only two break points. On the first ball, Nick looks like a wall which is almost impossible to break.
Kyrgios’ winning streak now stands at eight matches. Last week, he won the tournament in Washington.
Kyrgios has four straight wins over his compatriots.
De Minaur, meanwhile, has also managed to impress this week. Alex has not given up a single set so far, although he too has had some tough opponents.
In the first match, Alex defeated Denis Shapovalov (7-5, 7-6). The game was as tense as possible, De Minaur won the first set with a score of 7-5. In the second set, everything was decided only on the tie-break.
The encounter with Grigor Dimitrov (7-6, 7-5) followed a similar pattern. The only difference was that the tie-break was in the first set.
At the end of July, De Minaur won the tournament in Atlanta.
In 4 of Kyrgios’ last 6 matches, a tie-break has been played. We offer to bet on “Tie-Break – Yes” with odds of 1.83.
