Sevilla will host Manchester United in Seville for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final.
Tournament – Europa League;
Date – 20/04/2023;
Kick-Off – 21:00 CET;
Venue – Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium (Seville)
Due to the absence of a number of key players due to injury issues, the return leg could lack enough goals. The last three times United played in Spain, two games finished with under 1.5 goals.
Despite the number of senior players that would miss the return leg, United remain the favourites to win the game. Man United have won every team they have played more than once this season and Sevilla could follow suit.
They fought back late in the game to salvage a 2-2 draw after trailing 2-0 for the majority of the game. Sevilla are struggling in La Liga but due to United’s injury crisis, they could pull off an upset at home plus they have a good record against Man United.
The Red Devils
The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. Manchester United will be without Fernandes due to suspension and a couple of senior players including Marcus Rashford due to injury issues. And this could affect United’s performance against the La Liga side.
Sevillistas: Bono, Acuna, Marcao, Nianzou, Navas, Fernando, Gudelj, Oliver, Rakitic, Ocampos, Lamela
The Red Devils: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Malacia, Casemiro, Eriksen, Sabitzer, Antony, Martial, Sancho
Sunday’s game will be played at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium [Seville].
