Zacatepec Ghanaian defender Jacob Akrong urges Mexican fans to stay at home amid COVID-19 crisis

Zacatepec Ghanaian defender Jacob Akrong has asked the club's fans to stay home amid the coronavirus pandemic which has wrecked the world.

The 27-year-old, who plays for the Mexican side has sent a "peculiar" message to the club's supporters to stick to the precautionary measures touted by experts.

Mexican football, just like others around the world, have been suspended by the global health alert that has caused the spread of the disease.

Players of Zacatepec are in quarantine but the Ghanaian defender has sent a message to the club's fans to stay at home.

“Hello friends, I am Jacob Akrong soccer player from Zacatepec, I want to recommend that you bastards stay at home, you know that it is always with you. If they find someone outside, I'm going to grab them on the street. "he says in his video.

Akrong has become an important player for the team and one of the fans' favorites. At first the player lived in Zacatepec so he lived with all the inhabitants and made a bond with all the fans.
