Bodo Zenden is on a mission to prove he can dance a decent goal celebration.... after becoming an internet hit for his bad moves with Asamoah Gyan.

The Dutch midfielder's wiggling alongside Gyan has earned him plenty of mocking from team-mates and fans, and become a worldwide must-see.

Zenden 34, yesterday insisted he is not too old to dance, or keep his place in Steve Bruce's line-up, as a trip to Wolves tests ambitions on Wearside.

The veteran star has re-established himself in Bruce's team proving he can show the young guns how it is done.

But he joked: "Don't worry, I know it is an internet phenomenon. It's been fun. The dressing room is always full of banter and I'm always up for that myself. I can handle it.

"It is a funny thing, because the actual dance was MEANT to be funny.

"I joined in with an African dance and I was laughing as well. Of course, the lads had a laugh about it. Even I had to laugh about it.

"It will definitely return but it might be a different dance if I score. I promise you, I have got so many moves that haven't been seen! That was just an African one, but I have got loads. It had to be a funny one."

Zenden is determined to prolong his career - a tour of Europe that has included spells a Barcelona, Marseille, Chelsea, Middlesbrough and Liverpool.

Boss Bruce says the Dutchman is the model pro his kids should follow. Now Zenden has explained the secret of his longevity, and just how he was able to be competing at the front during pre-season running sessions.
