Ghana defender Alexander Djiku suffered an injury when the Black Stars beat Zimbabwe in the 2022 World Cup qualifications on Tuesday in Harare.

The Black Stars recorded a 1-0 victory over the Warriors at the National Sports Stadium in the 4th round of the qualifiers.

Arsenal star Thomas Teye Partey scored a sublime free-kick in the 32nd minute to handed all three points to the Black Stars.

The central defender couldn't finish the game after he was substituted in the 74th for Joseph Aidoo after suffering an injury.

The extent of the Racing Strasbourg's player remains unknown.

He will return to his club tomorrow where he will be checked by the Strasbourg medical team to know the extent of his injury.
