Fabrizio Romano gives another update on Manchester United’s pursuit of Mason Mount

Manchester United are prepared for direct contact this week to make final decision on Mason Mount deal, reports Fabrizio Romano.
United have been long linked with Mount during this summer transfer window and have already made three bids for the player.
The midfielder’s contract with Chelsea expires in 2024.
As per Romano, direct club-to-club talks will take place within 24/48h to understand how to proceed.
Meanwhile, United’s bid worth of £55m remains valid, but will not stand forever.
