The 33-year-old Russian mixed martial artist Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is a former UFC lightweight champion and president of his own promotion Eagle FC, was officially inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame at a ceremony last night in Las Vegas (USA).
Recall, that Khabib fought the last fight of his career in October 2020. Within the UFC 254 tournaments, he defeated American Justin Gaethje by applying a “triangle” choke hold in the second round. After the fight, the Russian announced the end of his career. He has 29 wins in 29 mixed martial arts fights to his credit, including 13 wins in 13 UFC fights.
The induction of Khabib Nurmagomedov into the UFC Hall of Fame was announced in March 2022 during the UFC 272 tournament.
