The agency of Lakers star forward LeBron James has become a partner in the new company Hana Kuma, which was founded by famous tennis player Naomi Osaka.
Hana Kuma means “flower bear” in Japanese. The company will produce television series, documentaries, anime, and author entertainment programs with built-in advertising.
SpringHill Marketing Agency was founded in 2020 with James and his friend and business partner Maverick Carter. SpringHill will serve as the financial, operational, and production partner for Hana Kuma.
“We don’t call ourselves a development company for nothing. That’s exactly what we do. An incredible woman who is going to bring her projects to life. Very proud to call her my partner,” LeBron commented on the deal.
