Novak Djokovic has taken to Instagram to send a message to Carlos Alcaraz following US Open victory.
Alcaraz became US Open champion after defeating Casper Ruud in the final on Sunday, September 11.
The current World No.1 celebrated a 6-4 2-6 7-6(1) 6-3 victory over Ruud and claimed his US Open title.
Djokovic, who missed out on participating in the competition due to his COVID19 vaccine status, took to Instagram to send a message to the young star.
He wrote: “Enhorabuena Carlos. Congratulations Carlos Alcaraz for your first Grand Slam. Amazing performance.”
