Leeds’ teenage star, Gnonto, has caught the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, as well as other clubs in Europe, after impressing in his debut season.
Leeds United’s 19-year-old forward, Joe Gelhardt Gnonto, has emerged as a hot prospect for several top clubs in England and across Europe. Gnonto, who joined the Elland Road side last summer from FC Zurich, has already showcased his talent on the field, with four goals and three assists in 20 appearances for the club.
Despite his youth, Gnonto has already established himself as a regular starter for Leeds and has even earned a call-up to the Italian national team. He could be a key player in Italy’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against England, which take place on Thursday.
According to reports in the Italian newspaper, Gazetta dello Sport , Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City are among the clubs monitoring Gnonto’s progress. Despite being valued at just £16 million, Leeds are expected to make a substantial profit on the player, having secured him for a modest £4 million fee a year ago.
