Bookmaker-Ratings expert Emmanuel Adebayor has made his prediction for Sunday’s FIFA World Cup Group F match between Belgium and Morocco.
Belgium began their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign with a 1-0 unconvincing victory against Canada on Wednesday night.
On paper, Robert Martinez’s side seemed to be the better of the two, but they managed to scrape out a victory against an eager Canadian team.
Even stats say how Canada outperformed them. Belgium had just nine shots on goal, whereas Canada had 21.
Morocco played out a tight, tense, scoreless draw against the World Cup runners-up. The Africans seemed happy enough with a point.
Now they await another tough game against the group leader.
If Belgium claim another 3 points in this match, they will secure their place in Round 16. I don’t think that Morocco have much chance to beat Belgium. The main thing is for them to not concede a lot of goals. However, if they play defensively and develop more effective counter-attacks, they can make something happen.
My prediction? I think Belgium will win this game, scoring just one goal.
