Arsenal players whose contracts expire in 2024

As we are nearing the end of the 2023/24 season, five players might be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season, if they don’t extend their contracts with the club.

Let’s take a look at the players who could see their contracts expire in the summer and let’s rank them.

5. Karl Hein

The 21-year-old goalkeeper has not made any appearances for the Gunners first team as Mikel Arteta has two excellent goalkeepers David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale. Hein’s time is probably coming to an end with the club with his contract expiring in summer.

4. Cedric Soares

Cedric Soaress is next up on the list as his contract also expires in the summer. Soares has only made five appearances for the Gunners and the defender’s time seems to be up with the club.

3. Mohamed Elneny

Elneny is one of the longest serving players at Arsenal, however, this season he has made only 6 appearances. It remains to be seen whether the club will extend his contract or he has to be looking for a new club to join in the next season.

2. Jorginho

Jorginho’s move to the Gunners was highely criticised at the time, however, he has become one of the key players. He has overall made 25 appearances in which he has scored one goal and provided one assist. Arsenal will probably extend his contract for at least one year.

1.David Raya

Raya is currently on loan at the Gunners and he has become an integral part of the club. Fans love the goalkeeper and letting him go would be a huge mistake. The goalkeeper’s contract includes an obligation to buy with conditions and hopefully Arsenal will keep him.
