Germany’s professional football association founded this hugley popular league in 1962 in Dortmund. Dortmund fans love their football and it comes as no surprise that the Bundesliga all started here in this east Germany city.
Literally translated as the “Federal League”, I’m sure we are in agreement that dropping the “federal” makes it a lot more catchy.
With 18 clubs all fighting for pole position, Munich has proven hard to top in recent times.
The Bundesliga Legends Network is the top accolade for Bundesliga players , since it was established in 2017. Popular names include Jörg Albertz who served his time with Dusseldorf and Hamburg teams as well as African Anthony Bafffoe and Korean Bum-Kun Cha.
