The Athletic journalist provides update on Raheem Sterling injury after Man City game
The Blues faced a 1 – 0 defeat to Pep Guardiola’s side in the Premier League on Thursday evening. Riyad Mahrez scored the winning goal to give his team the lead.
During the meeting, Sterling picked up a hamstring strain and had to leave the pitch.
According to Johnson, the attacker is having a scan today to determine the extent of his injury. The journalist has added that Sterling is hoping not to miss the game with Liverpool though he won’t rush in his recovery process.
