Shuai Zhang is a big surprise on this tournament. She qualified and then defeated Simona Halep, Alize Cornet and Varvara Lepchenko. The Chinese player smashes out whoever she wants.
Madison Keys hardly won against Ana Ivanovic. She lost the first set and was going to lose the second one. Finally, Keys gained her victory.
It seems that Zhang has impressed everybody because now Keys is not the obvious favourite. I think the Chinese surely can offer a battle in the upcoming match. She’s good enough for that. And Madison Keys had some trouble against Yaroslava Shvedova and then against Ana Ivanovic. In addition, she has a nice fast serve. So I expect a tough fight with over 21 games.
