France v Romania. Tancredi Palmeri’s prediction
You look at France v Romania and think this is going to be easy for France. However, it is actually quite complicated and there could be something historic. Only one host country has won their first game of the European Championship – France in 1984. With this in mind it could be argued that they are the only ones who know how to do it. Romania are undoubtedly inferior to France so odds on a simple win for the French are too low to consider. France to win with -1 handicap at 5/6 with William Hill is probably the one to go for.
