Pundit believes Frank Lampard is NOT the main problems in Chelsea’s recent struggles
The Blues faced a 3 – 1 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League on Tuesday evening due to the goals of Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus.
As things stand, Chelsea are now sitting in 12th place in the league table, nine points ahead of the relegation-zoned Nottingham Forest.
After the game, Upson shared his views on the situation at Stamford Bridge, suggesting that there are larger problems at Chelsea than just the decisions being made by Frank Lampard, who is currently serving as the team’s caretaker head coach.
“There’s a bigger problem, bigger issue than that and it’s that foundation of knowing what your role is where you stand, and actually consistently applying that and I don’t think the players have had that at that club for quite a while since Thomas Tuchel, really. I think he had his way, but he wasn’t there too long and under the new ownership,” the pundit said during an interview with Sky Sports News.
