Perhaps the fight against Hooker will be the most serious challenge for Allen. In an extreme fight, Arnold defeated Sodik Yusuff by unanimous decision.

Dan Hooker is a New Zealand fighter nicknamed “The Executioner.” He is 32 years old professional record (21-11-0). It seems that Dan was on a good winning streak more recently and could claim the lightweight title. However, all plans were destroyed by Dustin Poirier, and then Hooker also lost to Michael Chandler by knockout. These two failures were closed with a victory over Nasrat Khakparast. Later, Hooker decided to try his luck against Islam Makhachev but was caught on Kimura in the first round.
Prediction and Betting
Dan is a huge fighter, so he will have a significant superiority in anthropometry. The New Zealander is 7cm taller and has a 14cm longer arm span. Arnold is an all-around fighter who can be effective on the stand and the floor. The guy has big problems with the finishes in the UFC; he completed only two fights ahead of schedule. Allen acts too cautiously and prudently, hence neglecting entertainment.
Hooker considers himself a high-quality striker, and everyone knows what this guy can do in the stand. However, Dan’s career declined, no matter how psychologically his recent failures broke down. However, he has more experience, including a stronger level of opposition.
Perhaps, if not for numerous injuries, Allen would now be at his best. And so, the fighter does not perform as often as he would like. The Briton has a rich set of skills, but he is unlikely to be able to surprise the experienced Hooker with something.
Arnold in the fight is not Makhachev. And in the standing position, due to the big difference in anthropometry, it will be problematic for Arnold Allen to interrupt Dan Hooker. It turns out that Dan will have chances to win, and we will believe in him.
