In the second round, Kaia had to face Ann Li. It wasn’t an easy walkover, but she got off without conceding a set (7-5, 7-5). Kanepi served three times in the match, but she converted five of her six break points on the strength of experience.
In Kanepi’s last seven matches, more than 20 games have been played.
