Arsenal Football Club are reportedly considering a potential move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old was a top priority target for the Gunners in the previous January transfer window, but the North London outfit failed to reach a deal with the Seagulls.

According to a recent report by reputable football news source, Football Transfers, Arsenal have renewed their interest in the highly-rated Ecuadorian midfielder and are likely to make him a top priority once again in the summer.

Brighton & Hove Albion held out for a premium fee for Caicedo in January, and his price is expected to have increased following the news of the long-term contract he signed with the club. The midfielder is currently earning £60,000-a-week at the South Coast club.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be willing to meet Brighton’s asking price for Caicedo, but it is clear that the club’s scouting department have identified the player as a potential target to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad ahead of the 2021/22 season.
