I’d like to begin with bets on the underdogs. Ross Muir defeated Jamie Burnett 5:0 this week at China Open qualification game and now they play each other again. Nothing has changed, so we can go for Muir’s win.
The odds on Chris Wakelin’s win against Mike Dunn are a little higher. Chris defeated Mike in 2013, but he’s becoming better and better now. And Dunn’s getting older. His experience and high rating will not help him.
We can expect some faults and mistakes from the favourites, but I’d better show some faith. Mark Selby lost just six frames in seven matches in one of the PTC tournaments. He should win to nil or lose just one frame. I also believe in Shaun Murphy against Santos who missed almost all of the season and was in bad form at China Open qualification. We can get 2.20 on these two bets in the accumulator.
Hatem Yasseen was defeated 0:5 by Dominiс Dale this week with not a single point in the first four frames. Dale won 508:13. Liang Wenbo plays as solidly as Dale and he surely can defeat Yasseen by win to nil.
