South Africa women national team returned home to rapturous applause after winning silver at the 2018 Africa tournament in Ghana.
The Banyana Banyana secured qualification to the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.
The team received rousing welcome on their return at the OT Tambo International Airport.
South Africa lost 4-3 on penalties to powerhouse Nigeria, who clinched their 9th African crown.
