2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Hearts begin campaign against Aduana Stars at Dormaa

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak will begin their 2020/21 campaign against Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa in this match day one fixture. 

The Ghana FA released the full fixtures for the 2020/21 season on Thursday.

The Phobians will be begin their quest to end their 10-year league trophy drought away to Aduana Stars  who have been resolute and difficult to beat at home.

Hearts of Oak have a Herculean task in their opening fixture against the Ogya lads as they are yet to beat them at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park.

In the last meeting between both sides in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Hearts of Oak held Aduana Stars to a goalless draw at their own backyard.

Hearts coach Nii Odoom has set his eyes on league title this season whilst Aduana Stars with their key player Yahaya Mohammed will aiming for the goal king award this season after COVID-19 robbed him off last season.

Hearts of Oak won their 20th league title in 2009 and have gone trophies since then.
