2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Week 31 Match Preview – King Faisal vs Legon Cities
King Faisal

King Faisal earned an important point in midweek against Medeama in their fight against relegation and they are expected to build on that as they welcome Legon Cities.

The match will be played on Monday afternoon at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman.

King Faisal, currently, last but one on the Ghana Premier League table need the three points badly to climb out of the relegation zone.

A win will take them to 14th place with three matches and nine points available to be won in their quest to maintain their premiership status.

Their opponents are 10th on the table but their points tally of 38 points means they are not safe and must ensure they don't drop points.

The first meeting ended in a stalemate and that was at the time, King Faisal were better than Legon Cities in terms of performance which translated to their positions on the table. King Faisal were above Legon Cities who occupied a spot in the bottom three.

But things are totally different now. Legon will head into the game as slight favourites having worked so hard to climb up from the dreaded zone in the second round.

In the past five games, Legon Cities have won three compared to King Faisal who have picked up just nine from the available 15 points.

Both teams will go at each other knowing the importance of the three points at stake. Thus, it would be a tight game with the winner not expected to win by a comfortable scoreline.

Prediction: King Faisal 1-1 Legon Cities
