WAFA cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday to make it back-to-back wins in the Ghana Premier League.

The Sogakope-based side have now tightened their grip on the second position slot and snapping at the heels of leaders Karela United FC who beat King Faisal 2-0 at home.

After the a quarter of an hour, the Academy Boys had their noses in front against the run of play.

Augustine Boakye struck from outside the box to give his side the lead at the WAFA Stadium.

It was his second consecutive goal this term after a solitary strike stole a 1-0 win at Eleven Wonders in Techiman last week.

WAFA were too comfortable and dominant but lack the cutting edge to turn the possession into points.

But late into the second half, striker Daniel Lomotey fired home the second goal and increase his tally to three in five matches.

Berekum Chelsea went into the match on the back of a 1-0 win at home against Liberty Professionals but could not replicate that feat.
