Aduana Stars bounced back from their defeat to Asante Kotoko to deepen Elmina Sharks' woes after defeating the Ndoum Boys at their own backyard.
Bright Adjei's 25th minute header made the difference as the Ogya Boys mount pressure on table toppers Asante Kotoko.
The two times Ghana Premier League champions began the game on a good note on Elmina, creating chances in the early minutes of the game.
After coming close a couple of times, Bright Adjei broke the deadlock with a strong header.
Sharks were awoken by that goal, forcing for a leveler but could not just find the back of the net.
Aduana went into the break with the lead and returned looking for a second.
It was end to end stuffs, with Sharks doing all they can to equalize.
Aduana held on to win and move behind Asante Kotoko in second place on the Ghana Premier League table.
