Asante Kotoko SC defender Christopher Nettey has been handed his Black Stars debut in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications.
CK Akonnor has named the right-back in his starting lineup against Sudan on Thursday.
The Black Stars play Sudan at the Cape Coast stadium.
Nettey was given a late call-up to the Black Stars after Harrison Afful and Benson Annang couldn't turn up for the games.
The 22-year-old was a key member of the Asante Kotoko team last season in the Ghana Premier League last season.
He made 13 appearances out of 14 before the season was terminated.
