Berekum Chelsea recorded a 2-0 win against King Faisal at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park on Monday to end the first round of fixtures in the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League.
The Blues had to play their home game in Dormaa after their license was not granted by the Ghana FA Club Licensing to honor their home game at the Golden City Park.
Berekum Chelsea took an early lead in the 10th minute through Mezack Afriyie.

King Faisal staged a comeback but were denied on countless occasions by the Chelsea defence.
Berekum Chelsea took the lead in to the half time break.
After recess, Awuah Dramani increased the lead for Berekum Chelsea with the second goal of the game.

Berekum Chelsea protected their two-goal lead to secure their first three points of the season.
