2022 World Cup qualifiers: Black Stars arrive in South Africa for Ethiopia game

The Black Stars of Ghana have touched down in South Africa ahead of the penultimate Group G World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia on November 11, 2021.

The team lead by coach Milovan Rajevac will head straight to their hotel before holding their first training later in the day.

Coach Milovan Rajevac traveled with 24 players for the crucial encounter as the Black Stars chase one of the play-offs spots on the continent.

Ghana will miss Thomas Partey, Jonathan Mensah and Gideon Mensah through injuries with Afena-Gyan unavailable for the clash.

The Black Stars are behind South Africa by a point and will need to beat Ethiopia before the final game in Cape Coast on Sunday.

Ghana missed the 2018 World Cup and will be hoping to grab a ticket to Qatar 2022.
