AC Milan eye shock move for Manchester United midfielder

Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly eyeing a surprise move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

The 28-year-old Belgian international has struggled to make a huge impact under coach Louis van Gaal this season, appearing in just five Premier League matches, and the Old Trafford exit door is now seeming increasingly enticing.

CalcioMercatoWeb have reported that Milan are keeping close tabs on the player, as vice-president Adriano Galliani looks keen on securing the services of the Belgium international.

Fellaini is currently valued at around €27 million by the Red Devils, who are currently fifth in the English league standings and Milan are willing to offer the amount to secure Fellaini’s services.

Fellaini joined Manchester United back in 2013 for a fee in the region of â‚¬37.8 million from Everton, the Belgian playing a key role in United’s fourth placed Premier League finish last season.
