AC Milan midfielder Jose Mauri has bid farewell to departing striker Luiz Adriano.
Brazilian hitman Adriano is currently in negotiations with two Chinese clubs over a move away from Milan during this transfer window, and his teammate Mauri has issued a goodbye message.
“Good luck, my friend,” said Mauri on his official Instagram page.
“I wish you the best, you deserve health and happiness because you are a great person,” he continued.
“It’s been a pleasure to share with you these months.
“In the dressing room I will miss your smile.”
Luiz Adriano only managed a return of three goals from 19 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, although the club stand to make a reported â¬5 million profit during the upcoming sale.
The player joined Milan from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer for a fee of â¬8 million.
