Accra Lions have added another talented youngster to their squad by completing the signing of midfielder Abass Samari Salifu.
Salifu, 17, has been signed from Division One League side Young Apostles FC.
The newly-promoted side have bought Salifu to strengthen their midfield which was key to their success in the second-tier last season.
Although Young Apostles could not compete for a qualification spot, Salifu's performances were bright and it is no surprise Accra Lions have decided to honour him with top-flight football.
Accra Lions Sporting Director Rainer Kraft said: “Abass is a hard-working, skilful midfielder with very good anticipation. It’s great to have him with us.”
The capital-based club have set sights on a long stay in the Ghana Premier League.
They earned promotion for the first time last season after topping Zone III table ahead of experienced Tema Youth.
