"Acid-tongue" Light FM Sports crew launch scathing attack on GSN staff in a savage "pirate journalism"
Super Obondede has turned Light FM into an insulting hub since taking charge

Light FM Sports Crew burnished their credentials as acid-tongue charlatans on Wednesday when they extended their vituperation on GHANAsoccernet.com staff writers.

The Asokwa-based station sports presenters headed by one Kojo Abu Bonsra, affectionately called Super Obondede, displayed their trademark 'crude and uncouth pirate journalism'.

With froth at their mouths during their afternoon programme, the crew cast aspersions on two of our senior writers on a breaking news  story titled: Dr Kwame Kyei SACKED as Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman?

This hatchet job is somehow meant to appease Kwame Kyei who owns the radio station in the Ashanti regional capital but they have bitten off more than they can chew in their wanton and uncontrolled unprovoked attack on GHANAsoccernet.com staff writers.

The Light FM crew appear to be struggling to contain publications from the Ghana's leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com leaving them to run helter skelter and amok with invectives to throw the noble profession into the dogs.

Ever since the businessman was appointed leader of Kotoko, the Light FM Sports Crew have made it a hallowed tradition to rain insults on anybody who has been at variance with Mr Kyei's ideas or administrative style.

A statement released by Manhyia Palace on Wednesday afternoon said Mr  Kyei's three-year tenure had ended and the oil magnate had submitted a report over his stewardship.

GHANASoccernet.com suggested Mr Kyei had been given the heave-ho from his job in a publication which reverberated across all social media platforms.

General Manager of Light FM Kojo Abu Bonsra, popularly known as Super Obondede, and his other crew members launched an unwarranted scathing attacks on the writers of the website with unprintable words few minutes after the story went viral.

Derogatory remarks have become the hallmark of the struggling radio station in recent weeks as Bonsra who is also the general manager lead attacks on persons who in a way make unfavourable submissions about the executive chairman of Asante Kotoko.

Weeks, former Asante Kotoko management Edmund Ackah and Sasu Danquah (High Priest), a member of the club's social media have been victims of their vilification on live radio.

Colleague journalists including Fox FM's enterprising Opoku Afriyie (PK) as well as Gideon Fiifi Nyamekye of kickgh.com have also not be spared by the 'media rebels'.

For a radio station that has been hit with identity crisis and relevance in the Ghanaian media landscape, it had been hoped that the new general manager would have channeled his energy into reviving the "dying" media house.

Mr  Kyei was appointed to lead the Ghanaian giants in November 2016 and has failed to achieve any of the targets set for him during the three-year reign.

He won the MTN FA Cup and also the Normalisation Cup which earned them tickets to play in the CAF Confederation Cup and Champions League qualifiers.
