Adebayor organises send-off charity match

Published on: 04 July 2011

A charity game is being organised by Emmanuel Adebayor to mark the return of the striker to Europe for the commencement of this year's football season.

The match dubbed 'Adebayor's parting Shootout' will be played on Tuesday at Karl Reindorf Park in Dansoman, Accra.

The charity event will feature stars such as Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari amongst others in Ade's XI against a select side of Liberty Professionals. Kickoff is at 2pm and admission is free.

The Man  City striker spent most of his holidays in Ghana where he commissioned two water projects for the people of Hamile and Koro in the Upper West Region.

If Ade want to be a Ghanaian, he is more than welcome. I am beginning to like this guy, he seems to love everything about Ghana unlike many others who uses Ghana for their advantage. God bless you Ade, please think also of furthering the course of true Christianity because Ghana is tripping.

May God give you guidance and protection. Because you have an open hand, may He always fill that hand so that the needy will always feed on the crumbs. May God lift you above your equals and give you defense against arrows that fly either by day or night. May He forgive your mistakes and remember them no more.
