Players of Premier League side Aduana Stars have lauded the training regimen of new coach Aristica Cioaba.

The 39-year-old worked with the players for the first time on Tuesday ahead of a busy schedule next season.

The players were put to the paces before the new Romanian tactician unfurled his strategy for matches under him during his one-year stint.

With rapt attention, the players listened to the Uefa License A holder as he unleashed his training regime on the players.

Defender Godfred Saka, who has pledged his future to the club, was delighted with the work ethic of the ex-Al Masry coach and confident he will succeed.

''The training went very well and you can see from the look of things that the coach is here for serious business and we think he is good," Saka told GHANAsoccernet.com

''We like they way he spoke to us and what he expected from us this season. Indeed we want to ensure we recapture the title we lost to Chelsea last season."

Cioaba was appointed last week following the dismissal of veteran Herbert Addo on grounds of dereliction of duty.
