Ajax 'yet to receive' Mohammed Kudus offer- Dutch Journalist claims

Ajax is yet to receive an offer for Mohammed Kudus, Dutch journalist Mike Verweij has reported.

Mike Verweij reported on his social media profile that the Eredivise champions have not received any formal offer for the Ghana international.

The 22-year-old has been in fine form in pre-season with four goals in four games but has failed to break into the first team under coach Alfred Schreuder since the start of the season despite being the club's most impressive player in the pre-season.

The Ghana international has made three appearances all as a substitute in the second half for Ajax this campaign.

With the World Cup coming up in a few months, the Ghana star is frustrated and wants out of Ajax in search of more playing time.

Kudus has been linked with a move away from Ajax this transfer window.

Mohammed Kudus has been linked with a move to Everton on loan with an option to make permanent at the end of the season.

The Ghana international is in search of regular playing time ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder insists Kudus is an important player and he wants to keep him at the club.

"I think he should not leave," said Schreuder to Veotbal International.

"You can see that he is important. We need a lot of good players," he added after the game between Ajax and Sparta Rotterdam.
